Shaundra’s Remarkable Story

Shaundra Williams – Shaundra has been a resident at The Center for nearly 30 years. As her medical needs quickly evolved in 2010, she moved into a nursing home while she received 24 hour nursing supervision. As she grew stronger, she was able to return to Cullen Residence Hall after 4 years of strenuous rehabilitation. She now lives in her own room, researching hurricane preparedness plans, reading, writing stories, going out to movies and visiting with friends at our Willow River Farms campus.
