Direct Support Professional (Full Time, Willow River Farms)
Pay Rate: $9.44 per hour
Schedule: Monday – Friday from 8:00 a.m. – 4:30 p.m. (pending)
Location: Willow River Farms (4073 FM 3318 Brookshire, TX 77423)

Responsibilities: Responsible for instructing and training adults with disabilities, primarily developmental disabilities, within a group home setting. Performs assessments; implements and documents clients’ program plans under the direction of case coordinators; and monitors the safety and health needs of their assigned clients. Conducts training sessions in areas such as daily living skills, community awareness, grooming and hygiene, and personal safety.

Direct Support Professional (Part Time, Cullen)

Schedule: Saturday-Sunday from 8:00 a.m. – 8:00 p.m.
Responsibilities: The Direct Support Professional is responsible for efficiently coordinating the daily activities for the residents in a residential setting. Duties include, but are not limited to, instructing/training residents to achieve maximum independence while fostering a caring, family-style environment; assisting with hygiene, bathing, laundry, and household cleaning; and ensuring necessary documentation is accurate and complete within the established time frame in compliance with regulations. The Direct Support Professional is responsible for the physical, mental, and emotional well-being of each resident in his/her care.
Qualifications: High school diploma or GED plus one (1) year in a residential setting that provides services to adults with developmental disabilities. Applicant must have good verbal and written communication skills, the ability to multi-task, exercise independent judgement, and maintain a professional demeanor at all times while at work. Residential Administrator (Full Time, Supported Independent Living Program)
Pay Rate : $14.00
Schedule: 8:00 a.m. – 4:30 p.m., varied
Location: 3550 West Dallas St. Houston TX 77019

Responsibilities: *Please note that this position requires the employee to live on-site as a single-occupancy tenant.* The Residential Administrator will be responsible for the resident management oversight of the Supported Independent Living Program. He or she will provide direction and support for the ongoing operation of the residential program. This position works directly with clients on a regularly scheduled basis to provide them with care and support. The Residential Administrator: will adhere to the provision of services as designated by standards, rules, and policy; serves as a liaison between residents, property management, and agency management; assists with identified needs of residents; reviews and collects rent payment in a timely manner; maintains apartment units by addressing resident complaints, completing repair orders, and enforcing rules of occupancy; coordinates maintenance schedule with property management and maintenance team; resolves client issues, either by phone or in person, or forwards matters to the appropriate administrative staff as required.

Must be willing and able to maintain a flexible schedule—irregular hours and evening/weekend work is required. The Residential Administrator is required to participate in on-call rotation for after-hours, weekends, and holidays. This position required the Residential Administrator to live on-site as a single-occupancy tenant as well as the ability to drive a company van as needed.

Qualifications:
Education: High school diploma or equivalent. BS/BA in human services field strongly preferred.
Experience: Minimum of 5+ years’ experience working with individuals with intellectual or developmental disabilities in a state-agency-regulated residential program. Must be knowledgeable about state agency regulations.
Special Training/Skills: Good verbal and written communication skills. Must demonstrate strong interpersonal skills and enhanced negotiation abilities. Must be able to multi-task and manage time and tasks effectively with minimal supervision. Must be able to cook or follow recipe instructions. Must exercise independent judgment and maintain a professional demeanor at all times while at work. Must be proficient in computer programs, including Microsoft Office.
Licensure/Certification: CRP and SAMA required upon hire and annually thereafter. Valid Texas Driver’s License in good standing. The Center van training upon hire.
