Direct Support Professional (Cullen)
Pay Rate: $9.69 per hour
Location: 3550 West Dallas St Houston, TX 77019
Schedule: Monday – Friday from 8:00 a.m. – 4:30 p.m.

Responsibilities: The Direct Support Professional is responsible for efficiently coordinating the daily activities for the residents in a residential setting. Duties include, but are not limited to, instructing/training residents to achieve maximum independence while fostering a caring, family-style environment; assisting with hygiene, bathing, laundry, and household cleaning; and ensuring necessary documentation is accurate and complete within the established time frame in compliance with regulations. The Direct Support Professional is responsible for the physical, mental, and emotional well-being of each resident in his/her care.

Qualifications: High school diploma or GED plus one (1) year in a residential setting that provides services to adults with developmental disabilities. Applicant must have good verbal and written communication skills, the ability to multi-task, exercise independent judgement, and maintain a professional demeanor at all times while at work. Valid Texas Driver’s License, CPR and SAMA certification upon hire and renewed annually thereafter.


Direct Support Professional (Part-Time, Cullen)
Pay Rate: $10.00 per hour

Schedule: Saturday-Sunday from 8:00 a.m. – 8:00 p.m.

Responsibilities: The Direct Support Professional is responsible for efficiently coordinating the daily activities for the residents in a residential setting. Location: Willow River Farms (4073 FM 3318 Brookshire, TX 77423)

Responsibilities: Responsible for instructing and training adults with disabilities, primarily developmental disabilities, within a group home setting. Performs assessments; implements and documents clients’ program plans under the direction of case coordinators; and monitors the safety and health needs of their assigned clients. Conducts training sessions in areas such as daily living skills, community awareness, grooming and hygiene, and personal safety.

Schedule: Monday-Friday from 8:00AM-4:30PM

Responsibilities: Responsible for instructing and training adults with disabilities, primarily developmental disabilities, within a day program setting. Performs assessments; implements and documents clients’ program plans under the direction of case coordinators; and monitors the safety and health needs of their assigned clients. Conducts training sessions in areas such as daily living skills, community awareness, grooming and hygiene, and personal safety. Instructional materials are provided as a part of the daily training, as well as scheduling and participating in community field trips. Local travel maybe required.

Qualifications: High school diploma or GED plus one (1) year working in a human servicse setting. Valid Texas Driver’s License, CPR and SAMA certification upon hire and renewed annually thereafter.


Direct Support Professional (HCS)
Pay Rate: $10.00 per hour
Location: Group Home
Schedule: Saturday- Monday 8:00 a.m. -8:00 p.m.

Responsibilities: Responsible for instructing and training adults with disabilities, primarily developmental disabilities, within a group home setting. Performs assessments; implements and documents clients’ program plans under the direction of case coordinators; and monitors the safety and health needs of their assigned clients. Chief Development Officer
Pay Rate: TBD

Schedule: Varied

Responsibilities: The ideal candidate should be very familiar with the development community and have a successful history of fundraising and managing grant writers in Houston. Primary responsibilities are to plan, develop, and maintain a comprehensive private and public sector fund-raising program on behalf of The Center and to enhance the mission and vision of The Center. This position is also responsible for the overall leadership of The Center Foundation, including working with the Board of Trustees to establish annual and long-range goals, strategies, plans, and policies and fully implement all such plans to achieve The Center’s objectives. The Chief Development Officer leads a staff of four individuals and collaborates with The Center’s CEO, Board, and other appropriate committees to assist them in the execution of their goals, particularly as it relates to annual fundraising objectives.

Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree preferred. Position requires strong leadership, management, and problem solving skills and highly developed interpersonal skills. Have the ability to communicate verbally and in writing with all levels of employees. Have the ability to maintain professional composure in stressful situations. Proficient in Microsoft Office software, including Excel, PowerPoint, and Word. Must have valid Texas driver’s license. CPR and PMAB certification required upon hire and renewed annually thereafter.
