Mark Thornbrough

Mark Thornbrough is the Director of Facilities for The Center, where he is responsible for ensuring the maintenance of the organization’s campuses, their mechanical and electrical operations, and infrastructures. Mark earned his associate’s degree in Applied Science; has a first grade stationary engineer’s license; a Universal HVAC certification; and 35 years of experience working in commercial maintenance and for local, state, and federal authorities in all aspects of building and fire/life safety codes and issues. In his 25 years of working at The Center, Mark says that the favorite part of his job is knowing that what he does ensures that the residents are having a chance to live well independently.
